Easter Ross: 7 Little Gulls at Brora from the beach car park, four 1st winters and 3 adults. 36 Snow Buntings at Dornoch, south of the burn on the beach.

28th February

Easter Ross: Northern Eider at Loch Fleet viewed from Littleferry.

Skye: White-billed Diver in Uig Bay early afternoon, not present later in the day.

27th February

Easter Ross: Tundra Bean Goose with Pink-feet at Alcaig, Black Isle. Black-throated Diver at Jemimaville, also 10 Slavonian Grebes and 253 Scaup. Ring-billed Gull still in Pefferside Park. 

Lochaber: Juvenile Iceland Gull in Mallaig.

26th February

Skye: No sign of Firecrest today at Portree, 38 Great Northerns, 6 Black-throated and 14 Slav Grebes between Pabay Sound and the Skye Bridge.

Lochaber: Firecrest in the Lodge grounds today, Eigg.

Wester Ross: juvenile Iceland Gull still at Ardmair, juvenile Glaucous Gull still at Ullapool harbour.

Easter Ross: It would appear the Tarbat Ness Common Crane last seen on the 21st January has reappeared on North Ronaldsay, see image below. Prior to arriving at Tarbat Ness it had been present in Caithness at Quoys of Reiss for approximately 11 weeks.

​Easter Ross: Ring-billed Gull still at Dingwall, again at boating pool before flying into Tesco roof at 14:00pm.

Skye: Firecrest again briefly at lunchtime, on the Portree Industrial Estate, behind Sitekit offices.

​Skye: Firecrest again present on the Portree Industrial Estate, behind Sitekit offices, until early afternoon.

Easter Ross: Ring-billed Gull still at Dingwall, adult on Pefferside Park boating pond at 1030am, then flew to Academy roof.

Skye: Firecrest reported today from the Portree Industrial Estate - seen for an hour early afternoon. 

​Wester Ross: At Kishorn Fish Farm, juvenile Glaucous Gull still present.

Easter Ross: Ring-billed Gull still at Dingwall boating pond this morning.

Sutherland: Avocet still present today at the Kyle of Tongue. Showing distantly in a channel east of NC555560.​

​Easter Ross:  Ring-billed Gull again briefly early afternoon at Dingwall boating pond.  American Wigeon again at high tide at Tain Links. 24 Snow Buntings on the beach at Dornoch.

​Easter Ross: 23 Snow Buntings on beach south of burn at Dornoch and 59 at Dornoch Point. 6 Little Gulls at Brora, 3 adults, 2nd winter and two first winters. Scandinavian Rock Pipit at Portmahomack.

Lochaber: Juvenile Glaucous Gull and juvenile Iceland Gull still at Mallaig.

Sutherland: Avocet again at Kyle of Tongue on high tide roost at NC554541. Great Grey Shrike at Badnabay, on wires at NC208475. Glaucous Gull 1W, Iceland Gull 1W, 7 Little Auk and 7 Slavonian Grebes at Loch Eriboll. First-winter Little Gull at Brora (per B'guides).
