Easter Ross: Northern Eider at Loch Fleet viewed from Littleferry. Skye: White-billed Diver in Uig Bay early afternoon, not present later in the day. 27th February
Easter Ross: Tundra Bean Goose with Pink-feet at Alcaig, Black Isle. Black-throated Diver at Jemimaville, also 10 Slavonian Grebes and 253 Scaup. Ring-billed Gull still in Pefferside Park. Lochaber: Juvenile Iceland Gull in Mallaig. 26th February
Skye: No sign of Firecrest today at Portree, 38 Great Northerns, 6 Black-throated and 14 Slav Grebes between Pabay Sound and the Skye Bridge. Lochaber: Firecrest in the Lodge grounds today, Eigg. Wester Ross: juvenile Iceland Gull still at Ardmair, juvenile Glaucous Gull still at Ullapool harbour. Easter Ross: It would appear the Tarbat Ness Common Crane last seen on the 21st January has reappeared on North Ronaldsay, see image below. Prior to arriving at Tarbat Ness it had been present in Caithness at Quoys of Reiss for approximately 11 weeks. 25th February
