​Inverness: American Wigeon at South Kessock, then later relocated to the Muirtown Basin.

Sutherland: Four European White-fronted Geese, adult and 3 first winters, with the Barnacle and Greylag flock at Keoldale, Durness today at 
NC385657. Also a single Greenland White-front.

Wester Ross: Ullapool: Glaucous Gull (1W) still at ferry terminal​.

Badenoch and Strathspey: Glaucous Gull (2W) and Iceland Gull (1W) still at Broomhill Station in flooded field.

Easter Ross: Ring-billed Gull still at Dingwall, and 27 Pale-bellied Brent Geese at Nigg Bay (per Birdtrack). Scandinavian Rock Pipit at Portmahomack.

Lochaber: Juvenile Glaucous Gull at Loch Scresort, Rhum. Juvenile Iceland Gull still at Mallaig Pier.

Skye: Single Little Auk near Dunvegan Castle.

27th January

Ross and Cromarty: Hen Harrier and Merlin at Nigg Bay.

Sutherland: Mediterranean Gull at Brora (per Birdtrack).

25th January

​Ross and Cromarty: A Green-winged Teal at Balnabruach NH902837, which is the south end of Portmahomack beach. Also 65 Purple Sandpiper present.

​Inverness: Iceland Gull (1W) today by the sewage treatment works at Alturlie point. Shearwater sp., probably Sooty, 100m off Fort George at 1630pm.

Skye: 2nd winter Mediterranean Gull reported at Kylerhea.

Easter Ross: Ring-billed Gull still at Dingwall (per Birdtrack).

Easter Ross: American Wigeon still at Tain Links (per Birdtrack).

22nd January

Easter Ross: 2 Northern Eiders (ssp borealis) at Coul Links (per Birdtrack).

Badenoch and Strathspey: Glaucous Gull (2W) still at Broomhill Station in flooded field.

​Ross and Cromarty: Common Crane (subad) still at Tarbat Ness.

Inverness: A single Little Auk at the end of the Clachnaharry sea lock.  Also c20 Kittiwakes, one Black Guillemot there and at least 800 Guillemots in the wider Beauly Firth.

Skye: Juvenile Iceland Gull at the mouth of the Broadford River.

Ross and Cromarty: Common Crane (subad) at Tarbat Ness, also Magpie and Jack Snipe.

Wester Ross: Mediterranean Gull (2W) at Achtraid, Glaucous Gull (1W) and Iceland Gull (1W) at Loch Kishorn.

17th January:

Easter Ross: Red-necked Grebe still at Loch Eye. Ring-billed Gull (ad) still at Dingwall boating lake.

Skye: At least one Little Auk in Broadford Bay and a single in the Sound of Raasay. Three Jack Snipe flushed at Ashaig, Broadford.

Lochaber: A leucistic Great Northern Diver was in Loch nan Ceall, 
Arisaig, present for several days.

Easter Ross: Bittern flushed from the Brahan Estate flew down to the River Conon. Portmahomack - 54 Purple Sandpiper. American Wigeon at Udale Bay still. Red-necked Grebe at Loch Eye this afternoon and 20+ Little Auks off Dalmore Pier, Cromarty Firth.

Skye: single on Glas Eilean, Broadford​.

Wester Ross: Glaucous Gull still at Ullapool. An Iceland Gull (1W) at Ardmair.
15th January

Wester Ross: Ullapool- 1 Little Auk. Ardmair- 3 Little Auk, 1 Iceland Gull (1W).

Skye: Three dead Little Auks found above the tideline at Staffin Bay.

Lochaber: Juvenile Iceland Gull in Mallaig harbour.

Wester Ross: Little Gruinard - 1 Little Auk, 1 Slavonian grebe, 1 Black-throated Diver, 9 Great Northern Diver. Gruinard island - 1 Little Auk, 5 Slavonian Grebes, 8 Black-throated Diver, 11 Great Northern Diver. Mungasdale farm - 102 Barnacle geese in fields. Dundonnel - 5 Little Auks, 1 Black-throated Diver, 2 Great Northern Diver. Ullapool: 6 Little Auks, 1 Iceland Gull (1st W) from campsite. Ardmair - 1 Little Auk, 1 Iceland Gull (1st W) and 3 Great Northern Diver.
