The Highland List
The Highland list follows the AviList taxonomy, only those species in BOU categories A, B and C are included within it.
The Highland list stands at 374 species, this includes 367 Category A species, 2 Category B species (Ruddy Shelduck and Great Auk) and 5 Category C species (Ruddy Duck, Mandarin Duck, Capercaillie, Pheasant, Red-legged Partridge).
This list was compiled by Bob McMillan and Peter Stronach and is available as a Microsoft Excel document to download below.
